A Family Tradition

A Family Tradition
Seattle University has been a big part of the Roach family for more than 60 years. In fact, 15 members of the family have graduated from SU or are current students. Tom Roach is a firm believer in the value of a Seattle University education.

Tom: I worked in the priests' residence at Loyola Hall to help pay my tuition. In fact, all eight of my siblings paid their own way through SU. Two of my kids now attend SU, so I appreciate the core values of an SU education. Seattle University calls people to service - I thought to myself "what can I do to help out?"

In gratitude for all that Seattle University has meant to his family Tom Roach has included Seattle University in his estate plans.

Tom: I'd like to leave something to SU to help ensure that it will continue its Jesuit mission for the next 60 years and beyond. I guess you could call it a family tradition, because my mom is putting something in her will for SU, too.

You also may want to make it easy and convenient to have a bequest included in your will. The language below shows how a bequest can very easily be included in your will.
